Hello my dear friends. It's Saturday morning, I slept well, had a Teremok delivered for breakfast because my fridge is empty, the sun is out, the birds are chirping away and one of my accounts on Youtube has been blocked.... for yes.... as usual, defending Russia!✊🏻 (my teaching account is fine 😇)
There was a video by some relatively well-known Russian vlogger who is trying to be woke as hell by making out that there is systematic racism throughout Russia. I made the claim that despite there being a handful of idiots in every country, Russians are some of the most tolerant people I've ever met. For example, I mentioned how as an Englishman, I get special treatment in Russia as an exotic guest whereas in England nobody cares much about Jonny Foreigner. I also mentioned my hobby of making model tanks. Even the most glamourous Russian lady would find that appealing. But not in England, such hobbies are for freaks and losers. 🤓
I've just come to the conclusion even more so that NOBODY ever tries to see beyond the end of their noses by scraping below the surface to get to know what Russia is all about. And all this crap gives me fuel to do something about it and start a channel showing REAL Russia from a truthful, objective perspective digging deeper than anyone has. The problem is I need a team to do this with as my time is, well, not much. My book about Russia is half way but considering nobody reads anymore, maybe a channel makes more sense. But as I said: I NEED A TEAM! (preferably in Moscow where someone has good camera equipment) No vlogger (as far as I know) as ever made a video on the sweetness of why many Russians have a broken bath and 2nd-hand office furniture in their dacha gardens. I CAN explain why!
In 2 years, I have been banned from the BBC, Guardian and now Youtube! Yay!!!!!✊🏻😎
